Housing, It is a critical piece in improving the equality of opportunity for people all over the world. Alongside being employed and being of reasonable mental health, it is an outcome that we consider essential to giving individuals a chance at an independent, positive life.
We approach the issue of homelessness in two ways;
1. Preventing people who are currently housed, from losing their housing.
2. Providing pathways to housing for people who are currently in a state of homelessness.
Homelessness is not limited to sleeping rough on the street, a complicated issue requires a solution that caters to all causes and levels of homelessness. By working on a solution to Homelessness regardless of cause or severity, we are able to integrate with our other JBNProject programs to deliver well rounded opportunities to all of our candidates.
With the bulk of available housing in the private market, we work with real estate agents and property managers to protect private investments while meeting industry expectations for the development of good, reliable tenants. Acknowledging landlord expectations allows us to tailor pathways to meet the demands of the market. Engaged individuals are not only better employees, but better tenants as well.
